The end of 2010

So, what has happened since May 2010?  I travelled to Vegas, NYC, and Boston for the summer. Spent most of the summer at the outdoor pool and playing beach vball.

For some reason, I ended up dating the same guy as this girl that I know...let's call her Jane.  So Jane and I were matched up on line with the exact same guy.  How did I find out? She was telling me about this great date that she had and was terribly excited at the prospect of dating this new guy.  As she told me the story, I instinctively had the sinking feeling that I had gone out with the exact same guy.  Without her even finishing her story, I stopped her in mid-sentence and said "i went out with the same guy".  In order for her to validate my statement as she suddenly stopped mid-sentence and challenged me by asking me what the guy's name is. So as I uttered his name i could sense a feeling of disbelief, shock, and panic on the other end of the telephone.

So long story short, we both dated the same guy for a month before i gave him an ultimatum to pick between us.  He refused to give me a straight answer and to this day we are still just friends.  He said that I was a question mark. After he firmed up that we would forever be friends, we went out twice more where he somehow treated me as though we were on a date.  When we were supposed to date, he treated me like a friend, when we are supposed to be friends, he treats me as though we are on a date.

During all this drama, I somehow hooked up with this guy that I had a fling with last November when I was in Boston.  We also saw each other a few weeks ago which was one of the best night out that I've had in awhile but recently we haven't been in touch.  I have a soft spot for that one too.  I should really toughen up.

So I went out on two more dates in the past week.  Both ended up with no sparks.

This year has been pretty good.  We will see what will happen in 2011.

back to blogging....

So my apologies...i've been MIA for awhile.  Truth be told, i've had a series of bad dating experiences....from liars and losers....what can i say, i've been traumatized.

So where do i meet all these people. At random....no referrals, no introductions, no one to vouch for these people.

One guy told me he worked in money markets as a manager with 20 people working under him.  Sadly, I happened to know this girl who works in his office who advised that not only does he work in the back office not the front office, but he has no one under him.  She emailed me his info from the employee directory and after i googled his job title, i found an expired job posting for a 15 month contract position to sub in for someone who was seconded to a systems project.

So I had to txt him "i don't think we have much in common.  I have to focus on dating other people"...

After 7 months of hiatus, i'm back. So much has happened.

There was a Mr. November which I ran into last weekend. He made me laugh and made me cry.

There was also a Mr. January with whom I parted ways right before Valentines day. He is friends with this other guy that I was dating last year.  Saw both of them the other night, together.

Recently, I met another guy. He lives a minute away from me. I've known him about three weeks now. I have a soft spot for him. Not sure what is going on but I think I really like him.
